It is available for children 0-5 years of age with language delay, the course is also suitable for very young babies, those with physical disabilities and those who aren’t using intentional words or sounds.

The It Takes Two to Talk Program teaches you, step-by-step, how to become your child’s most important communication teacher.

If you are interested in part-taking, please complete our Expression of Interest form below. For further questions, email our Speech Pathologists Helena helena.challis@kitestherapy.org.au and Julie julie.flynn@kitestherapy.org.au.

Fitness, Food & Fun School Holiday Program

Looking to keep your kids active, entertained and warm these winter school holidays? We’re running our school holiday program again, but with a twist.

Hosted by our team of Exercise Physiologists and our Dietitian, we’re running a Fitness, Food & Fun program, all about helping your little ones engage in staying active and eating well through enjoyable and age-appropriate activities.

Sessions:

Juniors (4-6 year olds)
Aimed at children who need to focus on developing their movement skills, such as hopping, running, catching, and throwing or balance in a fun and engaging way, and dietetics messy food play.

Intermediates (6-11 year olds)
A combination of both fundamental movement skills and the beginnings of bodyweight exercises for those children who are beginning to develop further physical literacy skills and habits, and dietetics lunch box and snack ideas.

Seniors (12+ year olds)
An introduction to strength and conditioning. Resistance training has been found to be an effective method to promote muscular strength and a direct impact on locomotion, muscular power, endurance and functional abilities, and dietetics functional healthy eating goals.
